Griffon Aviation Modular JAA ATPL comprises of 8 modules. The first 4 modules are completed in Cyprus and the remaining 4 modules to any JAA member state. Our recommendation is to complete the remaining 4 modules in the UK so as the license will be issued by the UK CAA.
Module 1:
- Private Pilots License Course. Training in Cyprus on a C150 (45 hours).
Module 2:
- Night Qualification. Training in Cyprus on a C150 (5 Hours).
Module 3:
- Hour Building Phase. Hour Building in Cyprus on a C150 (94 Hours to include a 300 Nm cross country with two intermediate stops).
Module 4:
- Multi-Engine Rating. Training in Cyprus (6 Hours to include 3.5 hours dual flight training in engine failure procedures and asymmetric flight techniques).

- JAA ATPL Theoretical Knowledge Course
Module 6:
- JAA Instrument Rating Course
Module 7:
- JAA CPL Training Course

- MCC Course

We strongly recommend all future Modular ATPL (A) students to have the knowledge of Appendix 1 to JAR-FCL 1.160 & 1.165 (a) (4) CPL (A) Modular Course, Appendix 1 to JAR-FCL 1.205 IR (A) – Modular Flying Training Course and Appendix 1 to JAR-FCL 1.261(d) Multi Crew Co-Operation course (Aeroplanes) - MCC.
