Pre-Course Entry
Griffon Aviation use the Cessna 150 for this training.
An applicant for a Night Qualification must produce evidence of having a Private Pilot's Licence.
Course Summary
In order to fly as a Pilot in Command at night with or without passengers, the holder of a PPL(A) must have a Night Qualification. The definition of night in Cyprus, means the time between Sunset and Sunrise. Sunset and Sunrise being determined at surface level.
Course Details
The flying training course comprises a minimum of 5 hours of night flying conducted by a flying Instructor of which:
- A minimum of 3 hours shall be dual Instruction including one hour of Night Navigation (Cross Country).
- The remainder is Solo and must include 5 Solo stop & goes and 1 night navigation flight.
- Ground briefings as required prior to and after each flight as necessary.
